I met Jeff & Patty at the Society Room Bridal Fair last year. They signed up to come to our Open House and they told me all about the special day. I quickly became excited about this wedding as I do with every Society Room in Hartford wedding! They wanted to do a Same Day Edit, and have all the little details included. I hope we didn’t disappoint with this one. We were swarmed with compliments after showing it at the Reception on the big screen.

I think I’m in love with vineyard weddings. This place will always have a special place in my heart. The very first short cinematic wedding film I ever saw was filmed here by Stillmotion. I was so inspired and moved by the short piece that I started to teach myself everything about film and making wedding films. Here we are 2 years later with my own company. When I was called to do this wedding I was humbled and felt a great honor to visit this place that really inspired the passion that I have now for the wedding industry.

Another wedding where I don’t even know where to begin writing about. The whole day was something like i’ve never experienced. This was our first Chinese and Vietnamese Wedding. The culture is incredible. Lots of little things that mean so much. Our challenge was piecing it all together in just under 4 hours to include a beautiful story with all the little details woven in. I was a little nervous as we were setting up the screen, but as soon as everyone started watching it and a gasp of amazement went through the crowd I knew we did a good job! Linda and Chi had a gorgeous day!!

I met Andrea at the very first Bridal Show we ever exhibited at. She was so excited to see our style of cinematography and decided on us. I instantly had a connection with her and her family. A year later Mark and Andrea’s big day finally arrived. A brisk fall morning, blue sky, and excitement in the air. Another wedding with Kim Lemont of Kiss on the Chic Event Planning. This wedding was so unique in every aspect. The venue featured Riverside Farm in Pittsfield VT…truly stunning in beauty. Heather & Bobby’s style and decor for the wedding complimented the venue. They were such a pleasure to work with from start to finish! All the vendors made this a spectacular day for Heather & Bobby. Hannah | Robert || State Room
We traveled to Boston in January to film a lovely wedding. We met Robert and Hannah at the Fenway Park Bridal Show back in September of 2010. We instantly connected with them. They loved our style of work!
First up on the wedding day was filming at the Ames Hotel in downtown Boston. As you know I’m a huge fan of “First Looks”. We decided to do it in a staircase of the hotel. When I pieced it all together the result was precious. Next stop Marsh Chapel at Boston University, then we were off to the State Room. The day flew by. The highlight for me personally was being able to show a recoded message from Hannah’s grandparents up on the big screen. Very touching!!

Ok I know the hype on Friday April 29, 2011 was all around the Royal Wedding, however we were filming our own priceless wedding event. This kicked off our 2011 Wedding season and it did not disappoint at all!!! Newport is becoming one of my favorite places to film weddings. They day started off at 6am for me as I filmed some time lapse footage at Cliff Walk, The Chapel, and Atlantic Beach Rontunda. I’ve been trying to convince a Bride to film the Bridal Prep portion OUTSIDE and Heather jumped at the idea since she LOVES the outdoors. The day was perfect, the weather was perfect! It’s days like this that blow me away and I capped off the night with this amazing Same Day Edit. The room was full of tears and joy as they watched it back. Enjoy the Film!!

A week of nothing but bad weather kept everyone crossing their fingers for a gorgeous day on Saturday. To make matters worse everyone was talking about a “Rapture”, the end of the world! Instead we were focused on Christine and Justin’s wedding. Today my team consisted of three people, myself working lead, and two other cinematographers. Having three people for a Same Day Edit wedding is crucial to capturing the details of the venue and church. As you see in this film the smaller details help tell the overall story of the day. At the Salon we bonded with the bridesmaids, and mom’s. The weather cooperated perfectly!!! I started working on the Same Day Edit around 3:30 and we showed it on the big screen at 8pm. I loved watching Christine and Justin’s expressions as they watched it along side all their guests. The response afterward was very overwhelming. All the guests were astounded and baffled how we pulled this off

Wish Upon A Wedding – Boston, New England Launch Party
I recently was contacted by Wish Upon a Wedding to become a wish granter. I feel very privileged to have produced this Launch Party Film for them. The film introduces you to our first wedding couple recipient, mixed in with footage of our Boston, New England Launch Party.
Wish Upon a Wedding is the world’s first nonprofit wish granting organization providing weddings and vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and serious life-altering circumstances regardless of sexual orientation.

I met Mike and Katrina at the Fenway Park Bridal Expo September 2010. They very quickly booked us because they were so excited to see the quality of our work. Katrina is a wedding planner and loves all the little details. Mike is equally attentive to small details. Their love story is based around love of God and each other!

A heart of gold..these two are something else! I drove all the way to Lake Placid with them to shoot this film. This is where they got engaged and it was fitting to film it here. Long drive, lots of laughs, good food, and me falling asleep in the back seat on the ride home = a great Love Story Film!!

They dated in High School, some of college, and then reconnected. Now they are engaged and sharing their story with everyone. I had the privilege of showing this film during the rehearsal dinner. Tracy’s mom came up to me and told me how much this meant to them, and thanked me for making Tracy’s dad cry

Cool & Collected…let me start off by saying this quite possibly was the hottest day we ever filmed a wedding on. After 5 minutes in the sun it almost became unbearable. However both Tracy and Jesse both kept their composure and smiles on all day. These two have been together since High School, and the bond between them is something all couples should have and work towards.
I love the thrill of Same Day Edits. Being able to capture the days events, tell a story that brings to life the emotion of the day, and then show it to the couples & their guests the same day of a wedding is something remarkable for me. At times it can be a little stressful, however the reaction from everyone far out weighs the nervous anxiety of putting this together in such a short time.
I hope you enjoy this Same Day Edit as much as everyone did at the Ludlow Country Club Sunday evening.

Ashley travels with her entire entourage. I first met Ashley at a Bridal Show last year where she had both mom’s, and a few aunts with her. After feeling like I had just been interrogated by 5 or 6 women, they smiled, handed me a check, and said we would like to book you. I knew for some reason this was going to be an extremely fun bunch to work with!! Over the last couple months I got to know Ashley, but never met Dave.
